Our Story
We didn't plan to own a butcher shop. In 2021, we were looking to purchase a farm so we could live out our homesteading dreams. That all changed when we stumbled across the property that would become Renick Valley Meats.
We had the opportunity to purchase a small custom meat processing business situation on a farm.
Instead of stepping completely away from the food system, we decided to become part of it.
Today we are focused on creating a strong regional food system that connects meat from small, family owned farms to real families who want real food.
